Armenthia Carr is a master educator in Arkansas and Illinois, a licensed esthetician and an NCEA-certified skin of color specialist. She is the founder and CEO of IAMA Artistry LLC and runs Ur Skin Therapist, her private corrective skincare and advanced esthetics studio in Little Rock. As Director of Education for SmartSKN, she teaches professionals how to use AI skin analysis responsibly in the treatment room.
She launched the first esthetics program at Paul Mitchell the School Little Rock, has helped multiple esthetics schools open and grow, and has trained and mentored more than 1,000 beauty professionals. She is a contributing author to Milady Standard Esthetics: Fundamentals, 13th Edition, as a subject matter expert for skin of color.
