The Melanated Skin Registry exists to elevate professionals who lead with education, restraint, and long-term care for melanated skin. These are the values we hold ourselves and our community to.
Visibility should follow integrity, education, and patient-centered care — not marketing budgets or social media presence. The Registry was built to help bridge long-standing gaps in how melanated skin has been understood and served within the aesthetics industry.
Professionals featured within the Registry are expected to value:
Our editorial features and brand collaborations are reviewed for alignment with the Registry's standards — not sold to the highest bidder. A paid collaboration supports the platform; it never buys a favorable review, a guarantee of outcomes, or an endorsement of claims we cannot stand behind. Not all inquiries result in a feature, and that selectivity is what protects the value of every feature we publish.
Choosing a skincare professional is personal. We encourage you to research providers thoroughly, ask questions during consultations, seek practitioners who prioritize education and long-term skin health, and advocate for informed, respectful care. Registry inclusion is a starting point for your research — not a substitute for it.
If a listed professional, brand, or feature falls short of these standards, we want to know. We review concerns in good faith and may edit or remove any listing or feature that no longer aligns with our mission. Reach us at hello@melanatedskinregistry.com.
